Peanut Butter Frosted Cupcakes

"Happy Graduation!"

When I graduated from my community college, my best friend surprised me with these cupcakes. She made the frosting from scratch and you could tell that it was not from a pre-packaged container...yum! This was a great surprise; I have the greatest friends!

Apple Picking

"Roomie Bonding at the Orchard"

Two weeks ago my roommate and I went home to my town to go apple picking at Fishkill Farms. This year, I picked the largest apples I had ever picked in my entire life! We filled up a huge bag of apples for $30, then proceeded to buy some apple cider doughnuts, of course. A week or two later we tried to make apple bread which was a huge fail, but a funny memory. The bread batter overflowed and plopped all over the floor of the oven, and we were and praying that the fire alarm wouldn't go off in our on campus apartment! Thank God it didn't. Next time we will make something easy like apple crisp!
