What happens when four roommates each buy their own bananas? Well, banana bread. My roommate made these two loaves and we all ate them with our close friends drunkenly after a party.

My Rating :

aesthetics: 6

-perfect golden brown 

-would have looked better if I sliced a piece off

-whisk and oven mitt adds a nice touch

taste: 6

Shrimp Rice Bowl

"At-Home Chipotle" 

Tonight my boyfriend and I made a shrimp rice bowl for dinner. We used a boil-in-a-bag rice and vegetable mixture, and then topped it with iceberg lettuce, peppers, onions, apple salsa, homemade guacamole, and garlic and lime seasoned shrimp. With a little salt, pepper, and hot sauce this dish was delicious!

aesthetics: 7

-the bowl it was served it was not too colorful/exciting looking

-the tortilla chips in the background and the cilantro on top was a nice, purposeful touch

taste: 8
